Our Wills and Probate team provide the following services:
Will drafting: the purpose is to outline the intentions of the writer with regard to their affairs after death. These affairs are primarily financial, although a will also covers other areas including:
- Appointment of Executors
- Distribution of Assets
- Arrangements for Children
Your will can also be drafted to minimise your estate’s liability to tax.
Administration of Estates: we can help reduce the burden by assisting you with the management of an estate when a person dies including:
- Probate
- Administration
- Inheritance Tax
Probate is obtained by Executors where the deceased made a will. Where a person dies without leaving a will, Administrators are appointed. The estate is managed by those persons and the deceased’s affairs are closed. An assessment of Inheritance Tax liability is usually required.
